Task Force Status: Three pieces of legislation were introduced in 2011 that included music therapy, but all were amended or did not move out of committee. Support for music therapy is building and legislation to create music therapy license (HB 2062/SB 2451) was introduced (2012). Passed through Arts and Culture committee, but referred to Sunrise Review before continuing. Concurrent resolution for Sunrise Review passed in the House and referred to committee in Senate (04/12). Task force exploring submitting a Sunrise Review in 2014.
